こだわりポイント

"Mapo Yakisoba" is said to have been commonly eaten as a staff meal at Chinese restaurants in Sendai since the 1970s. It gradually gained popularity locally, but what really got it to spread nationwide was when it was featured on a television program. Originally it was a staff meal, and each restaurant has its own version of "Mapo Yakisoba." The unique feature of Taketake's Mapo Yakisoba is that the noodles are crispy on both sides while remaining soft in the middle, and the mapo tofu is made with silken tofu, which is combined with an original sauce that is neither too spicy nor too sweet and has an exquisite balance.

We recommend eating it as is at first, then adding a little vinegar to change the flavor for a refreshing taste.

竹竹

Founded in 2007, the name literally comes from bamboo, with reasons such as "We want to increase the number of stores like bamboo that spreads its roots horizontally from a single stalk," "We want each store to be straight," and "We want to be like bamboo that will bloom in 100 years." As the name suggests, the restaurant's interior is characterized by its soothing bamboo-themed atmosphere. All of the mapo-related menu items are popular, including the mapo yakisoba that was featured on a TV variety show.

This original sauce was perfected after much trial and error. It is what makes our mapo yakisoba so delicious.

The noodles are grilled until golden brown on both sides and topped with a generous amount of mapo tofu, which has a perfect balance of savory and spicy flavors.
The key to the flavor of mapo is the special sauce made from miso, chili bean paste, and ground Japanese pepper.
Our proud sauce has an exquisite balance of neither too spicy nor too sweet, satisfying people of all ages, from children to the elderly.

The dish is characterized by the use of silken tofu, which is easier to crumble, so that the noodles and tofu can mix well.

Try eating the silken tofu mixed with the sauce and the well-cooked noodles while loosening them up.

Currently, Eat Travel® is the only place that sells it frozen.

It has been featured on TV programs for a long time, and we have many customers from outside the prefecture as well as locals.

It's great when customers come to our store, but I think the best thing about this place is that you can quickly order after seeing it on TV, etc.
