Katsudon Nakaya is a katsudon specialty restaurant that was established in Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture in 2009. It was started by the owner Nakayama, who quit his previous job and returned to his hometown, along with his parents, and opened a restaurant specializing in katsudon, which Nakayama has loved since childhood. The sauce katsudon is based on the taste of the katsudon made by his mother, and is characterized by its sour sauce that you never get tired of. In addition to the sauce katsudon, Nakayama, who likes to try new things, has developed dishes such as the salt katsudon and katsumusubi, which truly live up to the sign of a katsudon specialty restaurant. Currently, Katsudon Nakaya is one of the most popular restaurants in Gunma Prefecture, the mecca of sauce katsudon, and is visited by many celebrities.
